Tiffany Moore, President of HDPA, was recently appointed to the Advisory Committee for the Animal Campus at Gragg Park.

TIFFANY MOORE
President of the Board of Directors

2009-2010

Previous to becoming President of HDPA in 2009, Tiffany Moore was the Vice President of HDPA in 2008. Tiffany is also the web designer and community liaison for HDPA and has had these duties since 2002. Tiffany joined HDPA when the very first dog park in Houston, Millie Bush Bark Park, first opened in 2002.

Tiffany was not active with the original forming members who began HDPA in 1998 to help Houston get it's first dog park but she did work along side some of them at the end of their tenure with HDPA.

Tiffany now carries out the founders' vision to develop new dog parks in Houston and she has added additional objectives for HDPA to support Houston's existing dog parks and teach the community about reponsible pet ownership.

Tiffany and her pack love dog parks and she is passionate about raising public awareness for responsible dog ownership. Tiffany believes the benefits that dog parks offer can help the Houstonians raise happy, healthy well adjusted dogs (and humans!). Going forward, Tiffany is leading HDPA to become more active in the dog park and dog lover community. Tiffany will see to it that HDPA becomes involved in the planning of future dog parks becoming the "go to" resource for new dog park advice and support. She is also striving to assure that HDPA meet its mission by providing support to animal welfare organizations that support responsible pet ownership initiatives such as abandoned pet adoption, humane treatment, spay/neuter as well as educating the community about the dangers of buying puppies from "backyard breeders", roadsides or flea markets. Tiffany is especially committed to advocating for needed improvements to the existing dog parks we already have all around Houston.

Tiffany has a career as Marketing Manager. She is on the Advisory Board of the Gragg Park Animal Campus project and has been a member of Cy Fair Rotary Club where she enjoys performing community service projects. Tiffany also writes a monthly article for her neighborhood newsletter named "Pawsitive Pets" where she gives advice on how to be a responsible pet owner.

Tiffany is the proud owner of three very spoiled dogs, 2 Golden Retrievers and 1 Black Lab (who does not like to swim). Tiffany has owned dogs since she was 13 when she began showing her Brittany Spaniel in the conformation ring. Tiffany showed her first true love, " L'il Texas Lady ", until she became a Champion in the show ring. Tiffany has been raising and training well balanced dogs for 27 years.

Tiffany is personally committed to seeing a dog park constructed in far Northwest Houston and will work diligently towards this goal.

Tiffany is available to speak at your organization about Houston Dog Parks or Responsible Pet Ownership and she can also assist you with planning a dog park in your community.
