About the park

Size: About 1 acre
Location: 4201 TC Jester Boulevard
Amenities: Separate small and large areas, double gated entrance, drinking
fountains, benches, trees, and washing stations. This small park is
a big hang out for locals. It is behind the baseball fields by the TC
Jester Swim Pool. This is a City
of Houston

No Children under 12 allowed in City Dog Parks.
We are aware that park users are not happy with the large mulch laid recently. Read more here about the TC Jester Ground Cover Improvement Program.
HDPA has officially adopted TC Jester Dog Park in the city's "Adopt a Park" program! This is our first official dog park adoption of hopefully many more to come.

April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month
Help stamp out puppy mills. Don't buy roadside or petshop / fleamarket puppies. Just because a dog is AKC registered does not mean the AKC approved the owners as "Breeders" who conform to the breed standards when breeding. Backyard breeder often inbreed thier dogs causing health issues later in life. If we stop buying thes epuppies it will put backyard breeders and puppy mills out of business.
According to the Humane Society of the U.S., there may be up to 200,000 dogs in puppy mills on any given day and 2 to 4 million puppy mill dogs are sold every year. One to 2 million never make it that far and are euthanized. April marks Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month. In honor of all of the abused, neglected, and rescued animals in need of good, loving homes, HDPA has offered non profit dog rescue groups a free table at our event to help them find loving homes for the dogs they rescue. Adopt a shelter dog at the T C Jester event, or offer to be a foster home - they need those badly.
